Types of shots and angles:

Aerial view: a view from directly overhead to afford a clear view.

Canted Angle: a shot tilted from one side is usually used to create disorientation.

crab shot: the camera is placed in a confined space.

establishing shot: the shot often used at the start of a movie or at a set time and location.

low angle shot: a shot where the camera approaches a subject from below eye level. is used to make the character appear bigger and more powerful. 

high angle shot: the camera approaches the subject from below eye level to make subject look smaller and vulnerable.

Pan; camera action involving gently moving the camera 180 across the subject matter in a horizontal plane.

tracking shot: when the camera follows the subject. when the rails are replaced with wheels the shot is called the dolly shot.

tilt: camera movement which requires the camera to move vertical and horizontally in a fixed position 

point of view shot: where camera is placed over the shoulder of a character to enhance connection with the audience
