Media language in the simplest meaning is how media text is being conveyed and interpreted by the audience. It the depiction of hidden and deeper meaning of the context that is being portrayed. For example opera being played in the back while a fight scene or a mass murder is taking place this would represent that the activity happening is sinister.

Representation: is how media influences a connection to the audience  Representation is how media texts deal with and present gender, age national and regional identity, social issues and events to an audience. Media texts have the power to shape an audience’s knowledge and understanding about these important topics. For example the ethnic  black community is often represented  to be associated with crime.

Audience: they are the people for whom the media content is intended for. Each type of media is targeted at a different audience for example romance movies are mainly targeted towards teenage girls and women.
